WELCOMED PEACE

Peeling away at the chaos

Sky scrapers,concrete souls

traffic jam packed thoughts

sidewalk overflow

rushing…

Then the day ends

at ease,

green grass kiss bare feet

Peace in the silence,

hills blossom upwards

reaching for the blue purple sky

Then night falls

  9. Hectic day and blissful retreat……. how beautiful that is, and so is that image you have put there of the field with trees on the edge. I swear that image is from a recurring dream I had as a child, where myself and sister Cay walked that peaceful field a thousand nights…. Your poem took me there again… lovely……..
