Consumed by nostalgia,
I step out of myself
Into the forest of time.
To collect bits and pieces of memories
A collage of moments
A life well lived so far.
Not totally content,
but I dance to no regrets either.

Your picture choice–which I totally love–an odd contrast to the simplicity and open peace of your poem. I’m glad you’re not silent, and I think we all need to be thinking about what goes in that collage.
