Overcast and cold
Clouds hang heavy
The drumming of light rain
Against the fogged up window
Calls for coffee and cake
A warm blanket and a good book
Alone
Lost in the sound of the earth
Washing herself
I sit and sip
…thinking about roofs

The rain tends to make the roof figure large in the picture – especially if it leaks!
