Blue stars cling to the sky
diamonds on pitch black velvet
A glistening supporting cast
setting the mood for Her

She enters

Full of splendor
Garbed in a mythical glow
A gem of celestial beauty

She calls.

The oceans respond
In the distance
the beasts howl
Announcing her arrival

She touches

lovers and fields of flowers.
Heads tilted to the sky
Openly receiving kisses of blue light

…a beautiful night blossoms

my what power she has….we all bend to her, the water within us pulling us ever closer as the tides…

  4. She arrives with real presence in your poem, capturing us all in her gravitational pull.

  5. Love the poem, love the picture. I’m a night fiend- I wish I was nocturnal- it has a special beauty you know? Guess that’s why as poets we romanticise about it so much. This was beautiful

  6. shanyns says:
